In recent months, we have had the exciting opportunity to give two talks in Yorkshire’s city of rhubarb, mining and sculpture… Wakefield.
Martin Wills, our Development Manager, delivered two presentations, one for the Council of British Archaeology Yorkshire in November as part of a packed programme of engaging presentations, ranging from the Archaeology of the Yorkshire Dales to Yorkshire’s battlefields. The second talk was for Wakefield’s Civic Society in February.
The talks were very well attended and gave Martin the opportunity to promote our work, talk through the process of creating our maps and publications, and share some exciting findings we have uncovered through our work in Bradford (as part of our Mapping Bradford’s History project), Bath and many other of our projects over the last years.
